Blog Experience

Hello dear classmates!  Today I'll write an evaluation of my blog experience. Very funny! Right? :/

Really I thought that this was going to be very boring and difficult, but it was not. Surprisingly no!

I think that this blog was a good tool for communication between us, the Universidad de Chile's students and the teacher Rodrigo Jorquera, because we could know us a little bit better.

I enjoyed write all the weeks on this website,  although sometimes I didn't have idea of what write, especially when the teacher said: free theme! OH MY GOD, what bored. Hahahaha… Nobody never know what to say when someone asks that.

I think that this blog helped in my english, but plus of write was the reading of teacher's blog.

The bad of this is that we don’t have good vocabulary, so we repeat every times the words and the ideas, but here we have learned a little more.

Ok. It's time to say goodbye. I have to say you that is a little sad finish this blogs, but I also would wanted to finish this semester. Really, I need to finish this year... I'm very tired. I suppose all you too.

My favorite activity

Ok. Today I’ll write about my favorite activity. Really I have many, but the principal is hang out with my friends. I enjoy so much go to bars, concerts, theater, cinema, do picnic, etc. I love when we meet and we talk and hate the university, hahaha…

Yesterday I went to see a play of theater: “El amor de Fedra” at the Cultural Centre GAM. The protagonist of this play is a friend, Felipe Zepeda. He is the best! Really the play is no very good, but his participation is perfect (objectively).

This activity is something I can do always, once a week or three times of the month. But if I think in something I would love to do every time is TRAVELING!

This year I went to Miami. First I didn’t like that place, I don’t know why, but after? I really loved. I only want back!! The sea is wonderfull and the people very nice!

The next year I’ll go to Argentina and Brazil with a friend. We want go to Cordoba, Buenos Aires, Iguazu, Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro…  It’ll be like a tour, hahahaha

I want eat now

Really I don’t have a favorite meal, but I need to confess that long ago I’m eating fries (the WORST for health, yes, I know). It is because with my friends we found a Peruvian food’s restaurant where which they are prepared with a delicious sauce, really are two sauce, but I love only one. The bad of this situation, is that is not healthy and we eating very very later.

I love Peruvian food too, all your meal, when I went to Peru I loved the main dish. They really do have the best cuisine in the world. I remember the “Causa rellena”, “Ají de gallina”, the ceviche: OH MY GOD! Wonderful. And the pisco sour? Better than Chile's, I don’t have doubts. It also has an incredible variety, like the sour passion fruit. I loved it.

I think that I don’t have favorite Chilean food. I don’t like the “charquicán”, “cazuela” or the legumes. Here, in Chile, I eat very pastas or vegetables, I like the green vegetables, I don’t know why.

Ok, I don’t know that more say to you. NOW LET’S EAT!

Career-related website

Well. I suppose the career-related website that I visit most is “El País” from Spain, but I have to say that no everyday.

It’s the only site I use to check on the international news, because usually first I read on Twitter or Facebook and after I check the information on the website.

I like it because it’s free, well made and it has a lot of sections or thematic: International, Spain, Opinion, Science, Technology, Sport, Style, etc.

Maybe I use more the chilean sites, but I read your social networks, no the newspapers or the official websites. I think that these webs are very commercials, because have much publicity, or the contents are very poor. 

For example, “El Ciudadano” or websites the radios (like “Bio-Bio” or “Cooperativa”), up news that aren’t news! Like: 10 softest dogs, the 10 images more views or ten films that everyone should watch... To nobody matter this news, but everyone reads this because they are entertaining. I really think that It’s a waste of time, but when you’re bored help much and is entertaining, hahahaha…

They are GIGANTE

Hi guys!

I don’t have a favorite singer, band or song. But I really enjoy the music, national or international, I like it very much.
These days I listened to “Los Auténticos Decadentes”, all days and I’ve been singing yours songs. I like the argentina music (I want to go to Argentina this summer), but one time, I was very national music’s fan. In this time I meet to “Ibacache”, he has a band: GIGANTE.
GIGANTE are Cristián Ibacache (frontman and guitarist), Mauricio Poblete (guitarist), Esteban Maturana (bassman) and Arnaldo Allende (drummer). The GIGANTE’s songs are very varied: you can find from rock to romantic or plus “slow” songs.  For example, I love “Quimera”  or “16”  that are more “slow”, but we find songs like “Consternación” or “Rock and Roll”.
They haven't had much luck, but they have played on the radio a couple of times. Right now Cristian is writing the letter of next songs, and will soon begin recording the next CD (the third).

A photograph you like...

This picture was taken for me three or four months ago. That moment was very exciting, great and incredible! I went to Miami Beach with my father for first time in june/july past!! I only want come back.

My father went for job and I for pleasure. Really I went of holidays for one week: THE BEST HOLIDAYS OF MY LIFE (until now).

That moments was too funny and very sweet because with my father us meeting so much, maybe like never before.

While my dad worked I walked every place in Miami Beach, I loved the american malls, hahahaha. I have say that I bought so so so much. Many clothes.

The people are very friendly and there are many Latinos (Colombians, Venezuelans, Peruvians, etc.). And the beachs? OH MY GOD, from that moment I love the Miami’s beachs, the sea is many warm (or hot, I don’t know).

My favorite movie...

Hi everyone!

I need to say you that I haven’t a favorite movie… Is impossible! Not only one, it’s hard to say which my favorite film. So, here we go.

I should say that until recently I didn't watch many movies. But now? I really like watch a lot of films, but I don’t have many free time. I prefer watch it in my home plus that go to cinema. I have Netflix, is the BEST OF THE WORLD!

The last film that I watched in the cinema was “Ant-Men” with my friends, we think that was a good movie and I really was enjoyed.  But... I have to say that I love to Johnny Depp, so I watch ALL YOUR MOVIES. Without doubt.

For me one the best Johnny’s movies, my favorite from him, is “Edward Scissorhands” (’90). I LOVE the characters! I like the music (beautiful), the photography, the history and the final is wonderfull (but sad). It is a wonderful story of love, understanding and adoption of the "other" as part of society.

I also liked “The Secret Window”, “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”, “What’s Eating Gilbert Grape?” (♥), etc.

I hope that you can watch it. You’ll not regret.

My favorite Piece of Technology: BlackBerry cell

I have a love and hate relationship with the technology. I like because is very useful but change so so fast!

I have a BlackBerry (BlackBerry Bold 9900) cell and I love it! Now, it’s my favorite piece of technology. I like it because have keyboard (QWERTY) it isn’t touch. But have the touchscreen. 
It’s very convenient to write. And I like the camera, is good, no excellent, but is fine.

I use my cell it mainly for WhatsApp and write, read e-mails and news online. Other reason of I like it is because is so simple, and it isn’t too big like IPhones or Samsungs, for example.

When I was a child I had other cellphone, but it’s the best. I don’t change! It’s perfect for me! 

I got it two years ago and I use it everyday, all day! Right now it’s bad, and I miss it.  

I DON’T WANT TO CHANGE IT! 

Expectatives for this semester

 Ok. I have that say the truth: I hate this semester!

I have five compulsory subjects: Two of Communication Research, Multimedia (I love the teacher ♥), Management and Media Management (I don't like the teacher) and English (cri cri).

Somethings subjects like Communication Research and Management and Media Management are very bored. I want sleep in those times. (Sorry, teachers).

I have others activities at the university, like a sport CFG: Right Now I do Taekwondo, it’s very funny. My teacher is a great sport woman. Oh, plus i worked like baby sitter until september (I needed the money).

My expectative for this term… I don’t know. Really I hope this semester can be useful and spending all my subjects. I hope to have some time too, free time. I need that.

Welcome to my notes!

Hi everyone.

My name’s Martha Kamila, but I preffer Kamila. I was born since 21 years ago in Santiago. Actually I live in Maipú and I’m studying fourth year of Journalism at the Universidad de Chile in Ñuñoa (far, far away. Yes).

Ammm… Well… My family is very big. I have two sisters (Isidora and Vanessa) and one Little brother Martín, plus my parents Juan and Carmen. And I have a lot of relatives.

This year I’m doing my profesional practice at the regional media from El Mercurio and i love it! It’s very funny and my boss (editor) is the best.

In my free time I like go to theater, go to concerts, listen to music. I love the music and i have very musicians friends . And I like watch movies too , in my home or the cinema, is not important .
